User Policy

Last updated 24 August 2026

The rules for what you may and may not create with PixMuse AI. These exist to protect real people, and we enforce them.

Draft — not yet legally reviewed. The {{PLACEHOLDER}} values (legal entity, jurisdiction, contact email) still need filling in, and a solicitor should review this before you rely on it.

Consent and likeness

Only upload photographs of people who have agreed to have their image edited by AI. This applies to clients, colleagues, models and members of the public.

Do not generate imagery that puts an identifiable person in a place, situation or outfit they did not consent to, where it could reasonably be mistaken for a real photograph of them.

Do not use the service to create sexual or suggestive imagery of any identifiable person without their explicit consent, and never of a minor under any circumstances.

Deception

Do not present generated imagery as documentary evidence — news photography, journalism, court or insurance evidence, or scientific record.

Do not impersonate a brand you do not represent, or produce advertising that implies an endorsement that does not exist.

Advertising standards

Ad copy generated by the AI is a draft. You are responsible for its accuracy. Do not publish claims, statistics, prices or guarantees you cannot substantiate.

Follow the advertising rules of the platform you publish on, and the advertising regulator in your market.

Prohibited content

Child sexual abuse material — reported to the authorities without exception.

Non-consensual intimate imagery.

Content that incites violence or harassment, or that promotes hate against a protected group.

Material that infringes someone else's copyright or trade marks.

Enforcement

We may remove content and suspend or permanently close accounts that breach this policy. Serious breaches are reported to the relevant authorities.

Report a breach to {{CONTACT_EMAIL}}.
